VINTAGE EDIT: SOMEONE GET THIS, BEFORE WE DO #15

The Row resort 2026
The Row resort 2026

Is it just us or has our inbox been buried under sale alerts for the past week and a half? We’re not exactly sale cheerleaders, but we do love a good markdown when it finally brings that long wanted piece into reach. Think of this list as your cue to bring home the pieces you’ve been manifesting, not the ones that are simply marked down — pray hand emoticon.

We have been under the spell of The Row Resort 2026. Not so much because of the no shoe rule, but because of the boiled wool and the speckled knit everything. And yes, we know that falling in love with a pair of 1140 euro cashmere tights is not entirely normal, or even healthy (in The Row vocabulary they are neatly classified as underpinnings). This so-called Donegal knit effect comes from Donegal in the northwest of Ireland and is loved for its soft, colourful speckled look. Spinners add those tiny fibres during the process, and you mostly see the technique with Irish makers or luxury houses that love a good classic. It suddenly makes perfect sense.

THE ROW Mauri cashmere cardigan, THE ROW Merilas cashmere turtleneck top (try this version from Arket), THE ROW Mauino cashmere tweed cardigan, skirt and scarf and THE ROW Mirai cashmere turtleneck sweater (— This Auralee knit, Maison Margiela crewneck + v-neck sweater, this Alex Mill knit and this Arket knit, make great substitutes.)
