TOTEME MADE AN OLD CÉLINE LEATHER BIKER JACKET

It's arguably the busiest month in fashion. New collections dropping one after another, with New York Fashion Week kicking off. And yet it's these adaptable pieces from COS and Arket that keep lingering in our shopping bags, and in our minds.

Toteme is taking us down memory lane with its newly launched leather biker jacket (check out their outerwear section, everything is so good) that looks like it walked straight out of the Old Céline archives. The differences are next to none. But we will always choose vintage over new, especially when it comes to leather and Old Céline. We found a bunch of vintage Céline leather motor jackets on our favorite pre-loved platforms, and now we want one of our own.

Same goes for Toteme's clip leather shoulder bag, which reminds us an awful lot of the archival Céline Edge bag (Charon got one as a present after walking the Céline Fall/Winter 2013 show). Even though the sizes of the bags may differ, the large side zip closure is unmistakably the same. After dusting that Céline Edge bag off, there is something that we can't completely shake. We have a feeling it might be back. Resale prices just haven't heard it yet.
