SOMEONE GET THIS, BEFORE WE DO #4

One of the perks of growing up in the Netherlands is mastering the in-between wardrobe, also known as the seasonless wardrobe. Winter cold never lasts for weeks on end, and neither does summer. In this transitional period, a vintage piece just might do the trick.

We believe a modern wardrobe isn’t complete without pre-loved or vintage influences. That’s why we’re introducing a small, shoppable vintage batch for our paid subscribers every month, followed by a larger vintage edition every two (or so) months. If you’d like to upgrade to a paid subscription, you can do so here.

Transitional treasures

Now, at the end of February, wardrobe restlessness sets in—we’ve exhausted every winter rotation we know (excluding this COS 'The Row substite’ which is honestly a winner—original pre-loved available here). Buying new winter pieces no longer feels urgent or exciting, though this is the perfect time to grab investment pieces on sale—like these extra 10% off Maison Margiela Tabi drawstring ankle boots, Acne Studio Faux fur jacket, or Toteme Ribbed-knit wool-blend turtleneck sweater—you’ll thank yourself in November. Meanwhile, shopping for spring feels overly optimistic and almost unrealistic. That’s why a vintage or pre-loved wardrobe refresh is perfect for this in-between period—fun, unique, and versatile pieces that bridge the gap of ‘seasonless’.

THE ROW Pre-loved double face poncho, HERMÈS Vintage silk grey leisurewear set, THE ROW Pre-loved Mabel mocassino electric blue (size 38), and THE ROW Pre-loved black leather sporty bag

The in-between season is also the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe with timeless staples. We’ve added some of our favorite essentials to The Wardrobe—or browse everything new in.

‘Someone Get This, Before We Do' runs entirely on the support of paid subscribers—no ads, no paid placements, no spon-con. Just us, you, and a shared love for vintage.
